The MEPs for Wildlife group have written letters to all the Home Offices and Interior Ministries of the EU Member States calling on them to support the EU council’s decision to list wildlife trafficking as a priority in the EU’s fight against organised and serious international crime between 2018 and 2021.

The letter to the Home Secretary in the UK in particular highlighted that the British government should pursue remaining part of this network of law enforcement and continue data sharing and working relations with the various bodies involved after Brexit.
